Job Overview

An established structural steel facility in Risca is recruiting experienced Fabricator / Welders on a permanent basis. These are PAYE roles.

Pay Rates

• Early Shift (Monday – Friday 7.00am – 3.00pm): £18.12 per hour
• Back Shift (Monday – Friday 3.00pm – 11.00pm): £24.16 per hour
• Overtime available across both shifts (paying up to x2)

Job Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel of varying grades and thickness
• Carry out MIG / MAG and Flux Core welding, predominantly downhand
• Complete multi‑run fillet and butt welds
• Weld to structural coded standards
• Work from detailed engineering drawings

Candidate Requirements

• Time served or apprentice trained
• Shop floor trained with strong fabrication experience
• Experienced within heavy or structural steel
• Previously welded to coded standards
• Confident working from drawings
