Transport Operator

We’re recruiting for a Felixstowe-based container haulage & logistics provider delivering UK-wide transport solutions. Known for a professional, personal service, they work with customers across freight forwarding, shipping lines, retail and distribution.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan & monitor daily container movements and ETAs
• Brief drivers and support with live issues as they arise
• Liaise with customers, depots and drivers to keep service smooth
• Update TMS and POD/job notes accurately
• Prepare and manage essential transport paperwork
• Support driver debriefs and general fleet admin

What we’re looking for

• Experience in transport, logistics, container haulage and traffic operations
• Confident communicator with drivers and customers
• Comfortable using IT systems (TMS and related tools)
• Proactive problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
