Duties
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the classic car workshop
- Supervise a team of 8 technicians, maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
- Allocate workflow across the workshop efficiently and effectively
- Manage customer expectations through direct communication and front-of-house duties
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in line with industry standards
- Develop strategic plans aimed at improving workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall workshop reputation
- Maintain strong client relationships, especially within the luxury sector as a Classic Car Workshop Manager
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of the business within the classic vehicle sector
Requirements of a Classic Car Workshop Manager
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working within the classic car industry
- Proven workshop management experience, ideally with luxury marques such as Aston Martin, Porsche, Jaguar or similar
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Ability to think strategically and implement innovative workshop solutions
- Hands‑on experience with classic vehicles and a passion for maintaining high standards
- Experienced in managing and leading a team in a busy workshop environment
- Stable background in classic vehicle servicing or restoration
