The Opportunity
A leading regional law firm with an excellent reputation is looking to recruit a Real Estate Litigation Solicitor or Associate to join its established Manchester office.
Recognised by the Legal 500 for the quality of its Real Estate litigation practice, the firm advises a wide-ranging client base on both commercial and residential property disputes. You’ll become part of a supportive and experienced team of Partners, senior solicitors and junior lawyers, working collaboratively on a varied portfolio of contentious matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to broaden their expertise while handling high-quality work within a friendly and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload while assisting senior colleagues on more complex and high-value disputes.
Your work will include advising on:
- Landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals, forfeiture and dilapidations.
- Real property disputes involving easements, restrictive covenants and rights of light.
- Property-related contractual disputes.
- Possession proceedings and trespass claims.
- Professional negligence claims involving surveyors and other property professionals.
Alongside your fee-earning responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in business development activities and help strengthen the team’s profile across the region.
About You
The firm is keen to hear from solicitors with around 4 years’ PQE or more in Property Litigation, although applicants with different levels of experience who can demonstrate the right expertise are encouraged to apply.
You will ideally have:
- Experience advising on a broad range of property litigation matters.
- Confidence managing your own caseload.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A commercial, solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine ambition to build a long-term career in property litigation.
