Reporting Radiographer (CT Head)

Job Overview

We require a suitably qualified CT Head Reporting Radiographer to join our team of Reporting Radiographers. The role offers a flexible 50/50 dual position with reporting responsibilities across the Health Board and working within the CT area at Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen.

Main Duties

• Registered Health Professional with an appropriate postgraduate CT head reporting qualification.
• Capability to work flexible hours to meet service demands and accommodate a flexible work pattern.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and audit participation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Supervisory duties, including overseeing student radiographers and radiographers undertaking reporting courses.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving service needs and maintain a flexible approach.
• Knowledge of and willingness to use Welsh is desirable; English speakers are equally welcome.

Working Environment

The main radiology departments of Hywel Dda University Health Board are located at Glangwili General Hospital, Prince Philip Hospital, Withybush General Hospital, and Bronglais General Hospital. The role involves collaboration across these sites and within the CT area at Glangwili.
