About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with confidence delivering engaging lessons to Year 4 and Year 5 pupils.
• A passion for creating an inclusive, stimulating learning environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.
• The ability to plan and deliver creative, well‑structured lessons that meet the needs of learners with a range of abilities through effective differentiation.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with high expectations for learning and pupil progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• A collaborative approach to working as part of a school team, alongside the flexibility and organisation needed to thrive in a part‑time role across two days per week.
• A commitment to safeguarding, promoting pupil wellbeing and contributing positively to the wider school community.
