This role offers an excellent pathway for career progression towards gaining QTS if this is your long‑term aim. The successful candidate will
- have experience in Primary Education as a Learning Assistant, HLTA, or Cover Supervisor, with a specialism in music
- be able to work well as part of a collaborative team, as well as being self‑motivated and able to work independently
- be willing and committed to developing and sharing outstanding teaching practice in music across the primary age range from Year 1 to Year 6
- have the ability to enthuse and engage pupils in purposeful learning experiences through music
- be passionate about children’s learning and welfare
- be a values‑led individual with high expectations of achievement and behaviour in themselves and others
- be committed to personal career progression and enhancement
