Overview
Service Care Solutions is working with a respected local authority based in Nottingham, seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join their legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal professional with strong planning law expertise to support a busy and collaborative team on a flexible contract arrangement.
Role: Planning Lawyer
Umbrella Rate: £60 – £65 per hour PAYE Inc.; Rate: £52.39 – £56.74 per hour. Duration: 3 months ongoing. Location: Nottingham – hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate Section 106 Agreements.
- Prepare Highways Agreements under Sections 38 and 278 of the Highways Act.
- Provide general legal advice on planning and highways issues.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with 5 or more years’ PQE in Planning Law.
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements.
- Experience advising on planning law matters within a local authority or similar environment.
