Learning Support Assistant required to support students aged 11-16 at a Secondary School in Essex on temporary cover. Employment is for both day‑to‑day and long‑term cover opportunities.
Location: Essex | Start Date: Immediate | Salary: £95-£110 per day
The school promotes high standards of behaviour, encourages student achievement and provides excellent support for both staff and pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Work alongside teaching staff to maintain engagement, support learning outcomes and demonstrate excellent classroom management skills. Provide support to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or within a Secondary School setting
- Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- The ability to support students with varying learning needs and abilities
- A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
