Senior Manager, Indirect Tax

The Role

• Take ownership of indirect tax matters including VAT advisory, risk management, and transaction‑related support
• Provide practical, commercially focused VAT advice that addresses client challenges effectively
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, delivering a high standard of service
• Ensure the successful delivery of VAT advice, maintaining both technical accuracy and a commercial perspective
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely, providing straightforward, jargon‑free solutions
• Review VAT returns and technical work prepared by junior team members, ensuring quality and compliance
• Support the development of junior staff through coaching, mentoring, and training
• Contribute to a diverse range of VAT projects, embracing varied and dynamic advisory work

About You

• CTA qualified and/or technically strong, with excellent communication skills
• Prior professional services experience, and experience in managing a portfolio of clients
• Holds broad VAT experience, including advisory, across a diverse range of sectors
• Demonstrates originality in thinking and is proactive in contributing ideas and perspectives
• Motivated to achieve fast‑tracked career progression and long‑term growth
• Skilled in delivering efficient, risk‑focused VAT due diligence reviews in fast‑paced environments
• Experienced in managing and maintaining a portfolio of clients
