Quantity Surveyor – Housebuilding

County Tyrone | Hybrid & Flexible Working | Excellent Salary & Benefits

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a role that offers genuine flexibility, career progression, and the opportunity to work with one of Northern Ireland’s leading housebuilders? Stuck with an employer who are “old-school” when it comes to flexible working and benefits?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected residential developer with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality homes across Northern Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that truly values its people, offers a supportive working environment, and provides the flexibility to achieve a healthy work-life balance.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced commercial team, you’ll be responsible for the financial management of multiple residential developments from pre-construction through to final account.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project costs and budgets throughout the build programme.
  • Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
  • Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Working closely with site teams, technical departments, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
  • Supporting the delivery of high-quality developments on time and within budget.

About You

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within housebuilding or residential construction.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, organised approach and strong attention to detail.
  • A relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualification.

What’s on Offer?

This company is known for looking after its people and offers one of the most attractive benefits packages in the market, including:

  • Competitive salary with regular reviews.
  • Bonus scheme.
  • Fully flexible working hours.
  • Hybrid and remote working options.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Life assurance.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement.
  • Pension contribution.
  • Ongoing professional development and career progression.
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • The opportunity to work on high-quality residential developments with an established and growing business.

Why Join?

This is more than just another Quantity Surveying role. It’s an opportunity to join a business where people genuinely enjoy coming to work, where flexibility is trusted rather than promised, and where your contribution is recognised and rewarded.

If you’re looking for a long-term career with a forward-thinking housebuilder that invests in its people as much as its projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion. Don’t have an updated CV? Don’t worry we can sort that out later. You can chat to Ryan on 028 8744 1488 or 07758819506.
