HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER

The Best Connection are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our well‑established client in Knowsley. This role involves delivering glass and UPVC products. A fantastic opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position with a reputable business.

Key Responsibilities

• Kerbside, residential, and construction site deliveries
• Handling and moving glass and UPVC products
• Ensuring loads are safely secured before transit
• Manual loading/unloading (physically demanding)
• Providing excellent customer service on delivery sites
• Complying with drivers’ hours and tacho regulations
• Completing up to 3 nights out per week

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience preferred but not essential
• General understanding of tacho rules & working time regulations
• Availability for 05:00-06:00 starts
• Willingness to complete up to 3 nights out per week
• Up‑to‑date CV required
• Interview required before assignment

Pay & Benefits

• £14.01 per hour (PAYE)
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Time and a half after 48 hours
• £50 per night out allowance
