Graduate Lab Production Technician (Chemistry / Chemical Engineering)
We are seeking a recent graduate in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering to join our UKAS accredited calibration laboratory. The role offers a 6‑month induction programme, weekly training and exposure to advanced instrumentation. The successful candidate will work in a team environment, but may also be required to perform work independently.
Salary and benefits:
- £32,000 per annum
- Excellent training programme
- Full‑time (37.5 hours per week)
- 33 days holiday, company pension and bonus scheme
Location
- Lab based in Staffordshire; commute from Staffordshire, Uttoxeter, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Burton‑Upon‑Trent or Derby
Role and Responsibilities
- Complete an initial 6‑month structured induction programme
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation without required travel
- Work as part of a team and independently as a technician
- Receive ongoing technical training and development opportunities (progression limited)
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate with a degree or A‑Level in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Passion for laboratory work and willingness to undertake extensive training
