Description

Learning Support Assistants (LSA) will start from 1st September 2026. This is a permanent contract.

Experience/Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent preferred. Pay Scale: LBR3 / £15.68 – £15.90 per hour depending on experience.

Hours: 30 hours per week, 43.77 weeks per year, term time plus 3 INSET days.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Special Educational Needs Co‑ordinator and Class Teachers.
• Supervise SEND pupils on a one‑to‑one basis or in class and at lunchtime.
• Provide enthusiastic, energetic support and adapt to flexible duties and approaches.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Genuine professional interest in working with children with special needs.
• Experience working with special educational needs pupils is essential.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to adapt and be flexible in duties and approaches.
