Job Description
We are looking for a Buyer Specialist – Indirect Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement activities across assigned indirect commodities. You will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring procurement activities are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, RFQs, purchase orders, and contract management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers while driving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Negotiate commercial agreements to achieve the best value, quality, and service.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sourcing strategies and business requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support cost reduction, process improvement, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with procurement systems such as Oracle or SAP Ariba is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Valid UK right to work and willingness to travel as required.
