About the role

As a full‑stack software engineer you will work in a small, agile team on the company’s Albert’s Next Generation Toolkit, primarily focusing on the paywall component. You may also be asked to contribute to other Media Technology products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain front‑end components using React.
• Implement back‑end services with PHP and Symfony (or a similar framework).
• Manage code through Git and participate in continuous integration pipelines.
• Write unit tests and perform iterative development.
• Deploy and support Linux servers.
• Use Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React, PHP, and Symfony (or comparable backend frameworks).
• Experience with Git, continuous integration, unit testing and iterative development.
• Comfortable working on Linux production servers.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Flexible thinker and ability to thrive in a small team.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
