The Opportunity

We’re supporting a major infrastructure project in Reading seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong civils background. This is a key role ensuring quality standards are upheld across inspections, documentation, and site activities.

Please note: Due to the nature of the project, candidates must hold live SC clearance. Applications without this cannot be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and acceptance of procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements
• Conduct QC inspections in accordance with approved ITPs
• Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs)
• Witness testing and carry out on-site inspections
• Attend project and quality-related meetings as required

Essential Requirements

• Active SC Clearance (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in a quality role on major infrastructure projects
• Strong civils background
• Ability to interpret and inspect against detailed design drawings
• Experience conducting site inspections
• Valid CSCS card
• Proficient in MS Office
