Job Description:

As a Functional Lead, you will play a key part in ensuring Network devices and controls are secure and in line with risk appetite. Your role will form a critical part of the Cyber Defence function and you will work closely with key functions across CISO, CIO, Central support, Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE), DevOps, Attack Surface Management, SOC/Incident response, Threat Intelligence and Security Engineering teams. You will be accountable for ensuring that Networking technologies are secured and protected in line with policy and standards.

You’ll Make An Impact By

  • Providing expertise for Network Security
  • Ensuring solutions are secure by design and compliant with Intact’s policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring the delivery of Network Security tooling
  • Working directly with CIO and the business to deliver secure solutions.
  • Ensuring metrics for service are defined, maintained, and measured.
  • Maintaining the security of Networks including artefacts and processes are defined and followed.
  • Mentoring other members of the Cyber Operations and Engineering team

Your Skills And Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of IT Infrastructure
  • Excellent knowledge of Networking and configuration
  • Excellent knowledge of Security principles
  • Good knowledge of security CIS principles and standards
  • Experience in working effectively with third parties including MSSPs
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, including Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in working across a range of internal and external third-party delivery teams
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements and solutions in business terms and context
  • Relevant security qualifications or experience (e.g. CISSP, CSSP, and so on.)
  • Able to represent the team in design, architectural and project delivery forums
