Role: Freight Senior Business Executive
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: GBP 60,000 OTE
Our client, a leading provider of Transport and Logistics services, is seeking a Freight Senior Business Executive for their team based in Hertfordshire.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and engage potential clients through regular targeted outreach to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with both new and existing clients to drive account growth.
- Prepare and present proposals and quotes, address client questions or concerns, and implement strategies to win new contracts.
- Advise clients on shipping and regulatory requirements within the European Union.
- Conduct negotiations with clients and suppliers to achieve favourable outcomes for all parties.
- Oversee accounts to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or expansion.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights, progress updates, and best practices.
- Contribute to marketing activities, including creating content for social media, promotional materials, and email campaigns.
The successful Freight Senior Business Executive will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the Freight industry, but this is not essential.

- Good commercial sense.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients.
