Salary 40k- 44k (Employed) + Overtime (OTE 47k- 49k) + Benefits

Location – Woking, Surrey Based

We currently have a superb opportunity for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients who are a leading provider of services to the CHP (Combined Heat and Power), Power Generation and District Energy sector.

Job Summary

• Site based in Woking
• Your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain mechanical plant and associated equipment within CHP energy centres and district energy networks
• Service, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of mechanical plant with particular emphasis on internal combustion engines, diesel generators, and CHP units
• Fully Employed – Monday to Friday – 40hrs – 7:30am-4pm as standard

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified and experienced mechanical maintenance engineer, holding relevant mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard, relevant apprenticeship / qualification in mechanical engineering
• Desirable but not essential – CHP (combined heat & power) or generator experience
• Ideally experience in maintenance & repair of things like commercial pumps, pipework, motors, valves, belts, conveyors etc
• Ex Royal Navy / Marine Engineering type backgrounds also considered
