Responsibilities
- Contribute to day‑to‑day clinical and operational delivery of invasive and non‑invasive cardiology services.
- Provide support to colleagues and assist the smooth running of a complex, specialist cardiology service.
- Collaborate with consultants, medical staff, clinical assistants, nurses, radiographers and clerical colleagues.
- Undertake a broad and varied range of procedures, many of which are complex and non‑routine.
- Work rotational shifts over six days, including Sunday, and participate in on‑call rota for catheter laboratory.
- Occasionally work within a community setting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Open to newly qualified practitioners and those already working at Band 5 with a desire to develop skills further.
- Pronounced skills in ECG recording and rhythm recognition.
- Good working knowledge of echocardiography, pacing and catheter laboratory procedures.
- Team player with a patient‑focused, adaptable approach.
