Office Administrator

Our client is a well-established fire safety company providing compliance and safety services to a range of residential and commercial clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire an organised and reliable Office Administrator with experience in a maintenance or service-led environment to support the day-to-day running of the office.

This is a varied, office-based role suited to someone who is comfortable dealing with engineers, chasing clients, managing paperwork, and producing accurate written reports.

Key Responsibilities

* Writing up and formatting fire safety and compliance reports

* Chasing clients for outstanding information, approvals, and payments

* Liaising with engineers and coordinating service or maintenance paperwork

* Managing incoming emails and phone calls

* General office administration and document management

* Updating internal systems with service records and job information

* Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc administrative tasks

Skills & Experience Required

* Previous experience in an office administration role within a maintenance, facilities, construction, or service-based business

* Strong written English skills, with excellent attention to detail

* Confident communicating with clients, contractors, and engineers

* Well organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple jobs at once

* Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced office environment

* Experience within fire safety, compliance, property, or building services would be highly beneficial

Salary, Hours & Location

* Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5pm
