Job Ref: 339497Contract: PermanentHours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 10:24 – 19:00.Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Cambridge, Coral Park Industrial Estate, CB1 3EZ

Salary & Allowances

Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)Paid weekday and weekend overtime

Additional Allowances:

  • Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
  • Weekly Driving Allowance (£78.56 weekly)

Responsibilities

  • Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
  • Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
  • Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
  • Providing a friendly, dependable service

Qualifications

  • A full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5 tonnes) registered to current address, with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation
  • Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
  • Customer focused, friendly, dependable, and team player
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Looking for a stable, long‑term role in a growing organisation
