We’re looking for a dynamic Lead Administrator to support the District Nursing and Community Therapy Service teams in the Northeast, covering Bicester and Kidlington.
This role is going through job evaluation, therefore some duties may change.
This is a varied and demanding role that will provide opportunities for developing processes within a friendly team of clinicians and administrators to ensure patient needs are met and that accurate paper and electronic records are maintained.
You will be highly organised with the ability to multitask and problem solve in a busy and varied environment.
Main duties of the job
As Lead Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the administrative team across four offices and work flexibly to meet the needs of this multi-disciplinary team. You will need excellent communication skills, be reliable and punctual and have experience in managing a small team.
- Actively support Trust policies for core tasks, health & safety, auditing and maintaining accurate records.
- Work directly with clinicians, minute meetings and develop processes.
- Motivate and support the administrative team, maintain a calm and efficient work environment, and operate autonomously.
- Provide administrative support for meetings (organising, preparing agendas, taking minutes, completing action plans).
- Lead day‑to‑day office management: facilities, room bookings, stock management and liaising with the Trust Estates team and building managers.

Person Specification
Knowledge
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Knowledge of EMIS.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level II in business administration or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
- Experience of managing others.
