KS2 Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Worthing. Start date: September 2026. Salary: MPS 1–4 (ECTs welcome).
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Worthing that is seeking a passionate KS2 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners up to M4 who are looking to develop their skills within a positive and collaborative school environment.
The Role
- Full‑time KS2 class teacher position
- Planning, delivering and assessing high‑quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
- Working collaboratively with a supportive staff team and senior leadership

The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
- Has experience teaching within KS2 (placements accepted for ECTs)
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
- Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Is eager to contribute to the wider school community
