Backend Engineer: Finance Automation (Kotlin/Java, Equity)

Mayday is seeking a Backend Engineer in London to join a high-trust engineering team building core infrastructure for month-end close automation. You’ll work with Spring Boot and Kotlin, shipping features across a JVM stack and cloud-hosted services for global customers.

You will collaborate with the CPTO, tackle deep accounting challenges, and contribute to backend improvements while occasionally touching the frontend with React/TypeScript and a Ruby on Rails app.
