Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) – Facade & Cladding Works

Location: Clapham, London

Salary: £35,000–£36,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a well-established contractor delivering a façade refurbishment project at a library in Clapham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with experience supporting residents and stakeholders throughout construction projects, particularly within façade, cladding, or external refurbishment works.

The Role

As the Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the main point of contact between the site team and building users, ensuring clear communication throughout the project. You will help maintain positive relationships, minimise disruption, and ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of planned works and project progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the construction team and building users.
  • Provide regular updates regarding project timelines, planned works, and any changes that may affect occupants.
  • Arrange and attend resident and stakeholder meetings where required.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Coordinate access arrangements with site management and building users.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications, visits, and resident interactions.
  • Support the site team in delivering excellent customer service throughout the project.
  • Produce weekly reports and maintain resident liaison documentation.
  • Ensure all communications are delivered in line with company procedures and client expectations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within construction.
  • Experience working on façade, cladding, or external refurbishment projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
