Bank Support Worker

Overview

We are looking for a Bank Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet St Teilo.

Located in the village of Rhymney, amid the beautiful Welsh countryside, Cygnet St Teilo House is a 23‑bed service specialising in high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) for women in a safe and comfortable environment. The facility has been designed to provide an environment that promotes recovery for women with its focus on space, personal privacy and dignity.

Role Details

Your day‑to‑day tasks include working flexible shifts in St Teilo House with the Female Rehabilitation ward.

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users, patients & residents.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe and clean environment for all.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.
• Excellent communicator, good team player, sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
