Overview
Our Social Workers support the Adult Social Care Service to deliver the statutory care and support offer that the council provides to adults with care needs, to achieve their personal outcomes and goals in life. In this role you’ll be an integral part of the ‘Assessment and Care Management’ teams in the county.
Vacancies
We now have two great opportunities, with two Social Worker vacancies, to join the county’s high performing and citizen-focused Neurodivergent team, as part of the Health and Care Directorate at Staffordshire County Council.
Key Responsibilities
You will work within the Neurodivergent team to support Neurodivergent Adults with having personalised Care Act assessments and support plans. You’ll work within a new bespoke team, set up specifically to work with Neurodivergent Adults to develop skills and independence and to lead fulfilling lives, and will collaborate with the Consultant Social Worker for Autism, who sits within the Neurodivergent Team, providing bespoke advice, guidance and support.
Role Details
This role is an essential car user role. The position is a hybrid role, with 2–3 office days/presence expected. It is a permanent role with a dual base of Stafford and Burton.
