Overview
As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard.
- Provide hands on care, oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
- Maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable.
- Willingness to work towards medication administration training with competency is essential.
- Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
