We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Reception Host to join the team at Gino D’Acampo Restaurant within Leeds Marriott Hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a vital role in creating an exceptional arrival experience, delivering warm Italian hospitality from the moment guests walk through our doors.
What you’ll do
- Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly and professional approach.
- Manage restaurant reservations and seating plans efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure a seamless handover to the service team.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage waiting lists and communicate accurate wait times during busy periods.
- Work closely with the restaurant management, kitchen and service teams to ensure a smooth guest journey.
- Handle guest requests, special occasions and feedback with confidence and care.
- Maintain a welcoming, organised and immaculate reception area at all times.
What we’re looking for
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- A confident, engaging and friendly communicator.
- A professional appearance with an approachable personality.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm and positive in a busy restaurant environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality, reception or customer service is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
