The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive and high‑quality teaching within Key Stage 2
- Support pupils to achieve strong academic progress and develop a love of learning
- Contribute fully to the wider life and ethos of the school
- Play an active role in developing and delivering Forest School and outdoor learning opportunities
You will be:
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong track record of high‑quality classroom practice and positive impact on pupil progress and outcomes
- Experienced in delivering engaging and effective teaching within Key Stage 2, with a secure understanding of the National Curriculum
- Having demonstrated how your teaching, feedback and classroom practice have improved outcomes for all pupils, including those with additional needs
- Skilled in using assessment effectively to inform planning and ensure pupils make strong progress
- An effective communicator who builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families, contributing to a strong and supportive school culture
- Committed to inclusive practice and ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential
- Willing to contribute to whole‑school priorities, including curriculum development and school improvement initiatives
- Interested in outdoor learning and Forest School, with a commitment to developing your skills in this area (training will be provided where required)
- Reflective and motivated to develop your own teaching practice, engaging positively with professional development opportunities
- Supportive of, and committed to, our Christian ethos and values
