CAD Technician

CAD Technician – Marine sector engineering provider, based in Central Scotland. This role offers full training in AutoCAD Electrical and hands‑on experience in electrical design.

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

Location: Glasgow

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to produce detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
• Interpret and implement design specifications to ensure accurate and efficient drafting.
• Generate and modify drawings according to project requirements and client feedback.
• Maintain organised documentation of drawings and revisions.
• Adhere to industry standards and best practices in electrical design and drafting.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Self‑motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
• No previous experience required; training will be supplied.
