Responsibilities
- Complete Single Assessments and S47 enquiries.
- Develop Child In Need and Child Protection Plans.
- Make recommendations on threshold for support.
- Work with children and families supported by Child In Need plans, Child Protection and Care Proceedings and support Looked After Children in Locality Teams.
- Participate in regular supervision, peer support and continuing professional development.
Qualifications
- Currently a newly qualified or fully qualified social worker.
- Experience or knowledge in child protection, child welfare and child in need planning.
- Ability to undertake assessments and develop safeguarding responses.
