We have a requirement for a Senior / Associate level Project Manager with a passion for delivering project management through a proactive approach, with an interest in collaborative working and seeking opportunities to grow both a team and a portfolio of clients. This integral role will suit you if you have proven experience of delivering healthcare projects within a consultancy in the built environment. Ideally you will be degree qualified in a relative field, such as project management or engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Actively assist in the business development focus for the project management team.
  • Build, nurture and maintain trusted client relationships, with both existing and new clients.
  • Lead client facing meetings, multi‑disciplined teams and own ultimate project delivery.
  • Demonstrate best practice leadership behaviours, as a leader to wider team members.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards of professional expertise throughout all aspects.
  • Coach and support more junior team members to build their confidence, competence and passion.
  • Manage large scale and/or multiple projects with key clients, and at times specifically owning particular aspects of project work in a hands‑on manner.
  • Be able to articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams.
  • Show ambition and willingness to work flexibly, in the office and on‑site, while demonstrating commercial awareness and the ability to lead teams to deliver projects successfully.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, adding value for clients and growing the wider business.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in a relative field such as project management or engineering.
  • Proven experience of delivering healthcare projects within a consultancy in the built environment.
  • Experience in high value and complex healthcare build projects gained in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong analytical mind with excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Excellent all‑round technical project management knowledge to establish yourself as a trusted advisor within your team, office and the wider organisation.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, combined with inquisitiveness, diligence and resilience.
  • MRICS, MCIOB, APMP or Prince 2 Chartered status is desirable but not essential; support can be provided to achieve chartered status.
