Overview

The Henley College is seeking an experienced and motivated Curriculum Leader with Electronics Engineering to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a dynamic curriculum area, drive outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, and ensure excellent student outcomes. You will lead on curriculum innovation, quality assurance, and performance management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Working closely with the Assistant Principal, you will ensure that the Engineering provision is responsive to industry needs, aligned with awarding body requirements, and delivers high-quality learning experiences for all students.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on curriculum innovation, quality assurance, and performance management within the Electronics Engineering area.
  • Shape the curriculum, inspire staff, and support students to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Principal to ensure provision meets industry needs and awarding body requirements.
  • Drive and monitor teaching, learning, and assessment to secure excellent student outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high standards across the department.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A full teaching qualification.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Proven experience of outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Experience of curriculum planning and delivering improved learner outcomes.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Experience of quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equality of opportunity.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a focus on student success.
