Senior Clinical Fellow – Dermatology (IMT3 or above)

Contract: 12 months fixed term full‑time (40 hrs/week). Salary: £67,325–£76,582 per annum (dependent on experience). Location: Epsom General Hospital, Epsom.

Job Overview

Full‑time Clinical Fellow in Dermatology providing inpatient and outpatient general dermatology and paediatric services at St. Helier site, Epsom and St. Helier NHS Trust.

Main Duties

  • Attend five outpatient clinics weekly.
  • Perform minor procedure list.
  • Develop and deliver teaching to medical students and trainees.
  • Participate in service reviews and appraisal meetings.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audit and research.

Person Specification

  • GMC registered with licence to practice.
  • MBBS or equivalent.
  • Experience in NHS at core training level or above.
  • Experience in medical specialties at foundation level or above.
  • Experience teaching medical students formally or informally (minimum two years).
  • Formal teaching qualification preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, research principles, and audit participation.
  • Understanding of the UK undergraduate medical training system.
  • Publications, prizes, and other achievements.

Additional Information
