Technical Engineer

Salary: £40,000 – 40,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Technical Engineer with at least 3 years experience in a similar Technical Engineer or IT Support role.
• We require strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012+ and Windows 10/11.
• We require experience with Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• We require experience with Hyper‑V virtualisation.
• We require experience administering Microsoft 365 tenants and SharePoint Online.
• We require solid knowledge of network infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• We require experience configuring firewalls, ideally Meraki, Draytek, or Sophos.
• We require excellent customer‑facing skills.
• We require a full driving licence and willingness to travel on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities

• We deliver high‑quality IT support services to our clients.
• We provide on‑site and remote technical support across various sectors.
• We diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• We configure and manage Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 tenants.
• We install, maintain, and support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and wireless devices.
• We support and administer Active Directory, Group Policies, Hyper‑V, and SharePoint Online.
• We work with VoIP systems, preferably Gamma, and support Microsoft Teams deployments.
• We maintain strong documentation and update ticketing systems with completed work.
• We ensure client satisfaction through proactive technical delivery.
