About the Role
FTI’s Construction, Projects, & Assets Practice works with a wide array of sectors around the world from infrastructure to energy to petrochemicals covering topics ranging from delay and quantum analysis to organizational transformation and competitiveness improvement. We are seeking a Senior Director to enter our fast-growing team to support our clients on their most pressing challenges associated with asset management from project conception to asset construction to competitiveness improvement and futureproofing of the capital project pipeline.
What You’ll Do
- A Senior Director provides clients with guidance in corporate strategy, business transformation, and digital and innovation capabilities across the pillars of people, process, data, and technology.
- Identify and solve complex business, organizational, and operational challenges and improve associated processes; frequently leads workstreams and manages client expectations and day-to-day activities.
- Contribute to business development, including developing proposals with scope of work, success metrics, staffing models, and more.
- Lead significant portions of CP&A Consulting projects, including strategic plans, organizational assessments, capability maturity assessments of project and asset management capabilities, market analysis, digital transformation, asset management, and organizational change management.
- Provide subject matter expertise on asset management functions including growth capital, sustaining capital, construction, maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds, outages, decommissioning, etc.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and leads to ensure overall project success.
- Drive best-practice solutions on Project and Portfolio Management processes and/or Project Management Information Systems.
- Perform project delivery process assessments, define requirements, and develop processes for project and/or portfolio strategy and planning, risk management, and related functions.
- Develop client-facing materials using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) to turn information into compelling stories with clear graphics.
- Develop engagement-specific approaches to training and organizational change management.
- Identify innovative ways to leverage consulting capabilities to improve performance and client buy-in within client organizations.
- Mentor, coach, and train CP&A Consultants/Senior Consultants.

What You Will Need to Succeed

- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Required Experience
- Several years of industrial experience in traditional project support/manufacturing/consulting roles or construction within premier consultancy, construction, or energy companies (e.g., Commissioning Engineer, Process Engineer, Asset Support Engineer, Consultant, Associate, Project Engineer, etc.).
- Ability to lead low- to medium-sized projects with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in digital tools: Microsoft Excel (VBA/Python skills a plus), Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced add-ins), data historian systems (e.g., PI, Uniformance), and Primavera or equivalent planning/scheduling platforms.
