Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly competent Administrator to join our growing central team. We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and organised Administration Officer to join our central team based at the Trust Head Office in Roade. TLT is a MAT with a small central structure and a large amount of autonomy granted to its constituent schools. The post holder will contribute to the smooth running of the Trust’s day-to-day operations at the head office, which hosts executive and operational meetings, training days, conferences and workshops. There are plans to increase the scope of training and potential to increase external income from lettings and meeting space. This role suits individuals with experience in event management, multi-faceted admin support, reception or administration duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the central team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the head office.
- Support event management activities, including planning, coordination, and delivery of meetings, training days, conferences, and workshops.
- Assist with reception duties, managing enquiries, and prioritising tasks in a busy environment.
- Contribute to increasing sales and bookings related to events and lettings where possible.
- Work in a similar environment with an understanding of the education sector where applicable.
- Be diligent, efficient, discrete, and accurate in all aspects of work.
- Assist with DBS disclosure applications as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent organisational and IT skills; personable, welcoming, and able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Event management experience with potential to increase bookings in this area.
- Experience in a similar environment; understanding of the education sector preferred.
- Proactive, dependable, and capable of working with tact and discretion.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a current driving licence.
- Adherence to safeguarding and compliance requirements as applicable.
