Job Summary
Temporary until 31st December 2026.
Reporting to the Catering Supervisor you will assist in the provision of a quality catering service within this location and associated locations, as required. As a Facilities Assistant within a kitchen, you will prepare and serve meals, operate a till and undertake specific cleaning duties. You must have the ability to work under pressure, be a team player and operate within food safety and nutritional guidelines.
Flexibility regarding start & finish times, to suit the needs of the service, would be desirable. This post is Term Time. Start date is subject to PVG and Occupational Health Checks.

Legal and Health Checks
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment. Successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted from salary following commencement of employment.
