Responsibilities

  • As a true ambassador for the sport, you’ll elevate the padel offering at Gleneagles, delivering memorable experiences that reflect the elegance, warmth and excellence our guests and members expect.
  • Delivering tailored padel coaching sessions for adult and junior guests and members, offering a truly personalised 1:1 service that adapts to individual goals, experience levels, and play styles.
  • Leading dynamic, engaging group sessions that are as energetic as they are enjoyable — creating memorable moments on court through creativity, encouragement, and expert guidance.
  • Providing professional product knowledge and advice on padel equipment and retail offerings, with a natural ability to recommend and upsell where appropriate.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our padel facilities, ensuring courts and equipment are immaculately maintained and presented to the highest standard.
  • Taking ownership of bookings, guest enquiries, and on‑court welcomes, always delivering a warm, confident, and professional arrival experience.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.

Qualifications / What We’re Looking For

  • An experienced Padel coach who is still an active player on Tour, agile, composed, and instinctively competitive; a true ambassador for the sport within a luxury setting.
  • Bringing a rare blend of high‑level playing ability and coaching expertise, instinctively competitive, leading by example and bringing energy, discipline, and a deep understanding of the game to every session.
  • Read people and the court, adapting your style to suit beginners, advanced players, and everyone in between. Your presence is quietly confident, your coaching refined, and your standards uncompromising.
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand.
  • A positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail.
  • Willing to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun.
