Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer with strong MEP / Building Services experience to support a major infrastructure programme on a client-side Integrated Project Team. The role focuses on assurance and oversight of contractor-led design and delivery, not hands-on design work. You will support the integration and verification of building services across tunnel portal buildings, shafts, and pumping stations.
Location & Duration
Location: Birmingham area (min. 3 days office-based)
Duration: to 31/03/2027
Responsibilities
- Oversee contractor MEP design assurance and integration
- Review self-assurance, testing, commissioning, and certification
- Ensure coordination of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, lighting, and fire systems
- Support delivery of multi-discipline infrastructure assets
Requirements
- Strong MEP / building services background
- Experience in assurance, client-side, or contractor oversight roles
- Understanding of systems integration and commissioning
- Infrastructure or major project experience preferred
