Senior Audit Manager

Audit and Risk Recruitment are partnering with a long term client in the practice space in the search for a Senior Audit Manager (External Audit) in the Charity and Not for Profit space. This role is suitable for a qualified (ACA or ACCA) candidate looking to take the next steps in their career and specialise in an area that provides progression and contributes to social good.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of charity and NFP sector clients
• Liaising with Directors/Partners and clients regarding forthcoming assignments
• Briefing audit teams; supervising and reviewing work
• Reviewing statutory (and other) accounts and organising their preparation and issue
• Providing technical guidance to staff and resolving technical queries when instructed by clients

Requirements

• Experience managing a portfolio of clients, ideally with charities, NFP and/or education sector clients
• Passion for supporting charity and NFP clients
• Professional communication style with a warm and friendly approach
• ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent
• Enjoy supporting and developing more junior team members
• Ability to build rapport and relationships with colleagues, team members and clients
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while remaining calm and focused
