Overview

This role offers a chance to be part of an exciting new journey, delivering a cutting‑edge criminal justice support programme. You will split your time between HMP Highpoint and Bury St Edmunds Probation Trust.
Responsibilities
You will work with post‑release clients, ensuring each one has a clear, structured plan for release. You will meet clients one‑to‑one, supporting them across key areas:
- Housing
- Resettlement
- Healthcare
- Education
- Wellbeing
- Life skills
- Employment
Deliver tailored 1:1 sessions and signpost to relevant services within the community, ensuring continuity of support.
Qualifications
To apply you should have experience working with individuals in the criminal justice system (prison or probation settings). Experience supporting vulnerable individuals in areas such as mental health, substance misuse or homelessness is also welcomed.

- Drug & Alcohol Worker
- Careers Advisor
- Employment Advisor
- Hostel Worker
Criminology graduates with relevant voluntary or paid experience supporting similar client groups are encouraged to apply.
