About the Role
We are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to work on a full‑time, agency basis in schools across Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children in the early stages of their education and creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, play‑based learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
- Observe, assess, and monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive learning habits.
- Work collaboratively with support staff to meet the needs of all learners.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within an EYFS setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
