Overview

Qualifications
You will have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care. We’re more than happy to support you in the completion of your qualification if needed.
Training
You can count on a thorough induction and ongoing training and development including access to apprenticeships and our online portal with a variety of resources to aid personal development and free access to LinkedIn’s online learning platform.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day responsibility for running a Household
- Responsible for all clinical duties issuing medication, reviewing care plans and accurate record keeping
- Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers of the teams
- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
- Building relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and district nurses
- Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties
- Complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process (cost covered by Bupa)
