Solution Architect – Findur / Financial Systems

Location: Central London

Contract Type: Long-term Contract

Engagement: Inside IR35

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions within a Findur-based financial systems environment. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Central London, working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in application and integration architecture
  • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and system design principles
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for solution quality

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Findur (v16+)
  • Strong technical background in C# and .NET frameworks
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases (preferably Oracle)
  • Experience designing system integrations, APIs, and data flows
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and architecture governance
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and trading systems
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jira
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools
  • Exposure to cloud or hybrid architectures (desirable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define end-to-end solution architecture across projects
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable designs
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to development teams
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
  • Oversee system integration, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity
  • Lead architecture reviews and governance processes
  • Support DevOps practices including CI/CD implementation
  • Ensure thorough testing, validation, and sign-off of solutions
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies early in the lifecycle
  • Mentor developers and contribute to a high-performing delivery team
