Hybrid Principal Backend Engineer — Platform Lead (Liverpool)

Grand Arcade is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a Liverpool-based, hybrid role. You will design and build scalable backend services in Node.js and TypeScript while mentoring a team and collaborating with senior leadership.

You will also contribute to frontend work with React/Next.js, work across Azure or AWS, adopt AI coding tools, and implement CI/CD and IaC practices to support a major platform rebuild.
