What will the role look like?
Barca Community Support Navigators work in an outreach capacity supporting people who are or have been homeless and have a history of rough sleeping. They work intensively with small caseloads, using a person‑centered approach to build relationships. Navigators collaborate with providers across local authority, criminal justice, health systems, policing teams and community networks. They are an integral part of the Safer Leeds Street Outreach Support Team, working in partnership to produce the best outcomes for the individuals they serve.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for a compassionate, resilient, people‑focused professional who can build trust with individuals facing homelessness and multiple disadvantages, collaborate with city partners, and provide intensive, trauma‑informed support to help people sustain accommodation, re‑engage with services, and move toward safer, more independent lives. This is a fixed‑term contract until 30/09/2027.
